HERR JULIAS illustrerade magnetiska citat ur Vaginamonologerna av Eve Ensler & mjuka handtryckta klittor fanns till försäljning som en del i insamlingen för kvinnor i Kongo som utsatts för sexuella övergrepp.

random urban music maker 2007

records and plays sequences of life randomly

how it works: sound-sequences are recorded, looped and played back overlapping eachother
creates rythm of (urban) life

SOUND-BASED ENVIROMENT

my startingpoints have been
extension in time & space|enhanced sense|superpower|entertainment

inspired by awareness/unawareness of body. noice. rythm. the nature of thoughts.

what i wanted to accomplish:

an audio-illustration of the mind. thoughts being uncontrollable and repeadely looping in our subconcious. the randomness of the music-maker amplifying this
awareness of sounds that normally play a background-roll in life
a sort of amplification of memories and an extension/enhancement of the sense
a soundtrack/specialeffect to life

it is interesting to consider the different impacts the music maker would have, depending on the user.
